1、 Introduction to PSB Certification

The Singapore Administration for Industry and Commerce has announced that consumer goods - Controlled Goods must comply with safety standards. The Singapore Consumer Protection (Safety Specification) Registration Scheme also has this requirement. The mandatory application for PSB certification is required for listed electrical products. Before the products enter Singapore, a company with tax registration in Singapore must be the holder of the PSB certification application (our company provides a Singapore merchant, which can be used as the holder of the PSB certification application). The product can only be sold in Singapore after obtaining PSB.

Issuing unit PSB (Productivity and Standard Board of Singapore). a. The certificate holder is a local company in Singapore with no factory inspection or annual fees. b. Certificate validity period: three years. c. If the product has a Plug, an SS246 test certification report must be submitted. There is no "series" application for product certification (each certificate can only cover a single model)

1. The voltage in Singapore is AC230V/50Hz, and the certificate holder must be a locally registered representative company

Certification: Safety signs need to be placed on the product

Document requirements: security testing;

CB certificate and test report valid for three years (English version only)

All reports issued by PSBCorporate or accredited testing laboratory in accordance with Singapore standards

Report issued by an independent laboratory recognized by the Singapore Laboratory Registration System

The Singapore Standard Productivity and Reform Commission (SpringSingapore) is a product safety agency established by the Singapore Ministry of Trade and Industry, responsible for the Consumer Protection (Product Safety Requirements) Registration Scheme (CPS Scheme). Starting from April 1, 2002, Consumer Protection Regulation No. 1991 was replaced by Consumer Protection Regulation No. 2002. The new regulations require that product safety compliance should be based on testing and evaluation by third-party certification agencies. At present, there are 45 categories of products that belong to the mandatory certification of control category.
